According to biblical stories, the first ever woman was created from rib bone of the first ever man, first ever soulmates! She was neither created from his head so that she can rule over him, nether was she created from his foot so that he can stomp over her. She was created from his own chest, so that both can stand together, understanding each other. Hence we use the term soulmates, plural, to refer a relationship, where there is no place for ego between them.

A man and a woman are two sides of the same coin. While one is filled intuitive feminine energy, the other is filled with overwhelming masculine power. Both feed each other, becoming even more powerful souls.  In the realms of souls, it is said that a soul will always find its true mate. The partner that we are with here on earth may not be our true soulmate as we set materialist standards while selecting a mate. While looking for a soulmate, people set standards like education, looks, financial status etc. However, soul is not materialistic, it’s something which exists in the non-materialistic realm. Trying to find soulmate in a materialistic way is trying to find a needle in a haystack. However, this method can be used to find a spouse for oneself. But if one is trying to find a soulmate, then they need to look into the other persons soul first.

From the day we were born, we have been growing. Every moment we acquire new knowledge, our perception of world changes, and we ourselves change along with it. Soulmates are those two people, who are ready to accept the change in one another. Instead of holding back oneself or the other person to change, they will embrace the change, knowing that, change is a way of life. A soulmate is that missing piece of the puzzle which helps you become the person who you are meant to be.
