We were standing at the peak of a mountain. The scenery was heavenly and the breeze was nice and cold. I was standing underneath a tree and she was walking towards the edge of the cliff. She turned towards me, gave a sweet smile, jumped backwards and flew into depth. Even before I could think anything, my body rushed towards the cliff. I don’t know why, but I too jumped after her, in a hope to save her somehow. Within a moment, I hit hard on the ground, or if I thought. It was a layer of mirror, floating amongst the clouds. The mirror felt hard and cold, as if it was made out of ice. Through the mirror, I saw her falling down to the abyss. I only wanted one thing, somehow to reach to her. I punched the ice, there was a small crack on it, so was one on my fist. I punched some more till both the ice and my fist was cracked, and I fell into it.
I fell into a dark ocean, right below the layer of ice. The only thing I was able to see was her glow from a distance far beneath than I was. I swam towards her, holding my breath. I swam and swam until my breath ran out and I realized, I didn’t have to hold my breath at all. I could breathe freely even under the dark water. I swam some more, till I saw her glowing body, her eyes open, dark like emptiness staring at me to get to her. As I moved towards her, I saw a huge sphere of fire, something like the sun, at the bottom of the ocean. I knew that she will fall into it if I don’t get to her. So I swam as fast as I could in hope to reach her, but I couldn’t make it in time. She fell into the sphere and I followed.
As soon as I entered the sphere, a warmth struck my body, it was not hot, it was just comfortable. The feeling you get when you dip yourself into a hot spring. The only thing I could see was the raging energy and her falling away from me. I realized that not even the sun could stop me from getting to her, so I swam across the ocean of fire and at some point, I realized I was getting closer to her. I was getting closer and closer, until I was just a hand reach away from her. I reached out to her, she reached out to me, I grabbed her hand and she had disappeared into me. The magical touch somehow absorbed her into me, as if we were one. We were confused, unknowing of what to do next. Should we go back? Or should we dive some more into the fire? But something told us to go further into the deep, so we moved towards, what we thought was the centre. But soon, we just entered into an exit.
It was the most beautiful thing we have ever seen. We were floating in space, with millions, no, trillions of stars in front of us. We thought, this is it, this is our heaven. We were drifting there for some time staring at the stars, but something didn’t feel right. It felt as if we were incomplete, we had to do something more. That’s when we looked up to a star, and decided to go there, as if it was calling out to us. We flew towards that star, at the speed of thought, speed of light was just too slow. We flew past many stars, big and small, bright and dark, but we knew those were not the one which called out to us. As we looked back, we had flew past all the stars on our way and the only one which remained was the one. As we came closer to it, we felt its presence, its thoughts, its emotions, we felt as if we were one with it.
Finally we’d reached the one star, which had called out to us. It felt peaceful just to float in front, staring at its blueish white flames, something like the full moon, but a burning one. We knew what we had to do, we entered into it and everything came to an end. There was nothing more that our heart had wanted and we had found our rightful eternal peace.
Beautiful… And worth taking chances and risks in life because you just never know…💕
