Humans are the most advanced species of planet Earth among all other species. Advanced in the sense, that humans are the only beings which can think for themselves. All other species of animals mostly learn and follow and that differs humans from animals. Most animals move on a pack and so does humans. Animals do this to protect themselves, as there is strength in unity. But on a different perspective, an animal may not be able to survive long alone, hence due to the fear of death, they have trained themselves to move as a pack. Both animals and humans follow the same method, only difference is being that humans live on a civilised society.

Civilised humans, mean they back each other up, even in the worst of the cases. In an animal kingdom, if an animal breaks one of its legs, most of the time, the animal will not survive long enough for it to be healed. But a human, can live through it, if they a know how to make it through. But the how to heal a broken leg is not something which everyone is aware of, and it’s not done for free either. With the right methods, a broken bone can be fixed, and the human may live longer. The cost for fixing a broken bone can be called as the cost of survival. A human can always live alone in a forest or a mountain, but the fear for survival is what keeps humans in a society.

Life is said to happen millions of years ago, and humans are said to happen thousands of years ago. Millions of years before, life exist on the planet, will life still be there after humans? Well, that depends on how long humans will exist. If humans live till the end of the world, no, there may not be life afterwards. But if humans kill themselves on the process fear of survival, yes, life will continue on Earth, even in a better way may be.

Humans are just a spec on the planet called Earth, and we think ourselves as special. We see ourselves different from all other animals, but in reality, science says otherwise. Biologically, there is nothing which makes a human body special from any other animal, the only difference being an advanced brain. The thought process to always have better and more, is what leads the civilisation. If someone ever said, we are happy living in a community, farming our own food, healing our own body, like it was done 1000s of years ago, the society would not have progressed.

Humans have wiped out thousands of species and acres of forest land in the name of cultural progress. And that’s the problem, each country have their own culture to follow, so all of them are in a race, to show ho can be the top most in the advancement of human community. There is no patriotism, or a thought for betterment involved, it’s a race to show the other that I am better than you. But in reality, we are no better than animals in any way. Animals hunt for survival, humans hunt for entertainment, whether it be greed for delicious food, hunting games, or fashion. Are humans killing the planet?

No, humans are killing themselves. What humans are doing, is just a catalyst for the human apocalypse, yes, an apocalypse which will affect humans and along with it, a few other species. Even when all the humans are gone, Earth will be there and so does the Sun and Moon. As long as there is energy being supplied, and the gravitational forces kept suitable for life, the surviving life will thrive and even new life will be born. Life is precious, but a human life is precious only to humans. If humans cannot keep each other safe, in the name of development, then the consequences will be faced by humans.

Humans live in a futuristic dream, where they create colonies on mars and moons, spending trillions of dollars. Humans aim on colonizing a planet which is not suitable for life, but ignore the only known planet where life can exist. There is no other planet in the entire universe, where the environment is exact as that of Earth, that’s why humans were born on Earth. Even if humans colonize a planet, 1000 years from now, due to the environment of the planet, humans will evolve and look like aliens.

Being an alien vs being an human, there are no difference but the cost that comes with it. The cost of evolution, which is going to be much higher than the cost of survival. Imagine spending billions of dollars to settle down on mars, and 1000 years later, your family line looking like a Martian?

Planet Earth does not need humans, humans need planet Earth. Only a Martian would need to go Mars as they consider it their home. If we do not consider Earth home, some other species will take us over and make it their own home, COVID-19 for example.
