While taking the trip to their new home with his mom, 7 years old Jake asked where his dad was. She was unable to speak the truth. Trying to brighten up, she said “My son, your Dad is in a far away place”. Looking puzzled, Jake replied “But he was crying when we left our home”. There was a complete silence.
